Meat

Meat have vitamins like vitamin A and vitamin B-complex.

Meat and vitamin:

The meat with fat contents are rich in vitamin A. The lean meat, however, contains little amount of vitamin A and B. The vitamin A and vitamin B are depleted during cooking. Liver, pork and kidney retain vitamin A and vitamin B after cooking. The fat contents of meat prevent vitamin A from damage during cooking. Vitamin A has antioxidant properties that help in the prevention of night blindness and improves the function of the skin and bones. Thiamin or vitamin B1 helps in the processing of the carbohydrates. Thiamin is found in pork. Meat also contain riboflavin or vitamin B2 that help in the processing of fats proteins and carbohydrates.
Vitamins in meat:

Niacin is also found in liver that help in the liberation of energy. Cyanocobalamin or vitamin B12 is found in meat, liver and kidneys. Vitamin B12 helps in the origin of the red blood cells. Vitamin B12 also helps in the proper functioning of the nervous system. Vitamin B12 also helps in the metabolism of the fatty acids that form myelin sheath of the nerve cells. Vitamin E and Vitamin K are found in liver.
Vitamin E is an antioxidant that helps in the proper functioning of the reproductive system. It also prevents damage to the muscles. Vitamins should be consumed by human beings because of the benefits they cause to human body. Vitamins are of two types namely the water soluble and the fat soluble. Water soluble vitamins are excreted through urine. Fat soluble vitamins are not excreted out of the body. Vitamins A,D, E are the examples of fat soluble vitamins.

Vitamins A,C,E have the unique antioxidant properties that prevent damage to the free radicals in the body. The antioxidants improve the immunity of the body.
