It is important to mention that besides seasonable fresh fruits, dry fruits are also beneficial. It is advisable to consume fruits in the raw and ripe state. Preferable times are morning or evening. Although fresh fruit consumption is recommended on a daily basis, it actually makes better combination with milk than taken with meals. During sickness, fresh fruit juice helps in combating infection and helps in immune system development.
