Macro minerals : these are required by the body in high quantities . Macro minerals comprises of calcium, phosphorus, potassium, sulphur, sodium, chlorine and magnesium and makes about 3.5 % of our body's composition.
Micro minerals: these are also called trace elements and are micro nutrients. These are required by the body in small proportions. The micro minerals account for about 0.5 of 1 percent, these consist of iron, manganese, molybdenum, cobalt, fluorine,copper, iodine, zinc, chromium and bromine.
